“Music is a higher revelation than all wisdom and philosophy....Don't only practice your art, but force your way into it's secrets; art deserves that, for it and knowledge can raise man to the Divine.”
— Ludwig van Beethoven
Teaching Philosophy
"With the proper attitude from the instructor, any student can find an interest in any given topic. It is very important to keep an upbeat demeanor, ensuring that the student will not only retain the information but also take an interest in what is being taught.
Over the years I have found that my students respond well to my enthusiasm for teaching guitar and music in general. There will be times that a private student may be feeling down about the progress they are making. It is important to remember that all musicians, from the novice to the professional performer, go through ups and downs."
